JCI ROMANIA FEDERATION

Since its founding in Romania 20 years ago, JCI has made significant and proven contributions to the business environment, academic environment, and civil society at the national level. In addition to being a constant partner, we have also built lasting partnerships with educational institutions, chambers of commerce, and NGOs, which have led to local and national projects.

ECONOMIC AND SOCIETAL GROWTH IS AT THE CORE OF JCI.

JCI Romania is working closely with business-oriented organizations to partner on mutually beneficial programs that benefit members of both parties as well as working together to create solutions for Romanian’s business environment.

Monthly events such as JCI Mixers, Business Target Clubs and Mastermind Events are providing knowledge and expertise for the business environments, legal changes and hot topics to help create solutions for real-world business challenges.

Over the past decade, JCI Bucharest has been organizing one of the most admired projects at the international level, “JCI Young Entrepreneurs”, which has had amazing results in the business community and has served as an excellent recruitment tool for the local chapter. Over 80% of those who graduate from this program join the JCI and take on leadership roles.

As part of our efforts, we also focus on empowering women in business.  “Style-driven Businesswomen” organized by JCI Iasi was one of the most awarded projects in the region, created by over 45 women entrepreneurs over the last 5 years.

WE ORGANIZE MASTERCLASSES, WORKSHOPS, CONFERENCES, AND TRAINING BASED ON THE NEEDS OF OUR MEMBERS.

WE ARE FOCUSING ON:Public Speaking & Debate, Personal Branding, Time, Finance & Resource Management, Negotiations and Project Management.

  • PUBLIC SPEAKING

JCI’s World Public Speaking Championship provides members with a unique opportunity to demonstrate their public speaking skills and share ideas about important local, national, and global issues.

Public speaking is a critical leadership skill that can motivate people toward positive change. The winners of the local competitions can participate in the national championship, then in the regional one, with the final phase of the competition taking place within the annual World Congress.

  • JCI DEBATE

National teams of three JCI members with debating skills attend JCI Area Conferences and the JCI World Congress to compete in international competitions on specially chosen topics that promote social responsibility, conflict resolution, equal rights, and respect for differences through the promotion of social responsibility.

Members of local JCI chapters in Romania regularly hold debate sessions in order to train them in expressing reasoned opinions, and supporting ideas, and get involved in community decisions.
